This is our second discount carrier. We paid $71 per person (as part of our total $845 each for six flights to and from and within Europe) to fly from Copenhagen to Prague. The plane was comfortable, clean, had a friendly staff and free wifi for the short hop.
When we greeted our cabin steward, he said we must be “from the states.” He explained that no one else in the world greets strangers with a hello, how are you, etc. Surprised to hear that.
We had a great breakfast/lunch at the beautiful Copenhagen airport terminal. Fresh squeezed juices from local apples at Joe and the Juice (coming to New York); a great sandwich at one of the other quality food purveyors there. And, fancy shopping galore.
The Prague terminal was very quiet but very modern.
Besides flying in Europe, Norwegian Air now flies to Boston, New York, Florida and California. They want to increase business, and are fighting regulatory hurdles because US airlines fear this company will destroy their transatlantic business.
